I bring together classic art masterpieces in a new story with a new interpretation in modern pop and street art style with words, slogans, numbers, stickers and codes. By focusing on every detail, everyone who looks at it finds something from themselves. Abundant signs produce new angles where the viewer finds new elements and interpretations each time he looks at the painting. As I open my own world, I show how complex and different we can actually be and that this is actually a wealth.
Biography
I was born in Izmir in 1978 and I still continue to live in Izmir.
My work invites you to pause, to analyze. It is based on this spirit of reusing and recycling, where countless techniques are brought together to reveal what can be considered the roots of my style; the lively compositions draw in the influential figures, legendary characters and cultural icons of my childhood, and the provocativeness of street art.
I combine Abstract Art, StickerArt, Pop Art, StreetArt and GraffitiArt and interpret them in my own way. The influence of streets, especially Berlin streets, on my production is indisputable.
